Roof Panels (R-value-30)
Like the walls of a timberframe home, the roof is enclosed with structural insulated panels. Well-insulated and tightly-sealed roof panels are crucial to getting good thermal performance. To make roof installation a one-step process, the subfascia and interior finish surfaces are preinstalled when we cut the panels. Our roof panels are then installed in large sections. After the panels are installed, the roof sheathing is ready for finished roofing, which is typically provided and installed by the general contractor.
Because we manufacture our own roof panels, we are able to supply complex, interesting roofs at a reasonable cost. We have, in the past, created curved roof sections, panel dormers, and large skylights.
