Assistant Project Manager


Bensonwood, a design-build company located in Walpole, NH, seeks two (2) energetic associates to join the team as Assistant Project Managers. We currently have a part-time and a full-time position available.  

Bensonwood is a national leader and innovator in the design and building of timber frame, hybrid, and panelized homes as well as light commercial projects. The company has a forty year history of building unique residential and commercial projects throughout the US. The company’s dynamic, team-oriented culture values high performance and continuous improvement.


Position Summary

The Assistant Project Managers will be responsible for assisting the project management team with the responsibilities as described below. These positions will be located in our Walpole, NH facility.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist lead Project Manager with prioritization of daily work streams
  • Assist in planning, construction and follow-up phases for Bensonwood projects
  • Communicate with in-house teams and resources on behalf of specific projects
  • Utilize software to manage schedules
  • Utilize Sage to report on job progress, billings, and assist with cost to complete analysis
  • Use office resources to gather the correct information for subcontract generation

Skill Set

  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload based on project needs
  • Ability and interest in assisting with development of systems and tools required to manage and improve office efficiencies
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Schedule monitoring and updating
  • Experience in project management software such as Sage and BuilderTrend preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Commitment to continually seek to improve processes to achieve higher efficiency
  • Ability to be a team player and work independently with minimal guidance

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience in an office environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation will be based on skill level and experience with anticipated hourly wage range between $15-24 per hour
