Junior Virtual Fabrication Production Modeler

Position Summary and Primary Responsibilities

The full-time (40-45 hours a week) Junior Virtual Fabrication candidate will be responsible for the creation of complete construction models and comprehensive sets of construction documents that will be used by our in-house shops and site crews.  The role is based in our Walpole, NH facility.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive 3D modeling of all building components
  • Coordinating and collaborating inter-departmentally to assure 3D models meet contract specs
  • Exporting shop drawings for use on our three production floors
  • Exporting of machine files to be cut on our CNC equipment and panel building lines
  • Creating drawings to aid on-site installation

Ideal candidate will have

  • Experience in 3D CAD/BIM (CADwork® preferred)
  • Knowledge and experience in residential construction
  • Ability to coordinate construction of projects with the manufacturing process while suggesting solutions to complex construction and fabrication
  • Experience with building systems integration
