Wall Panels
Bensonwood provides several well-insulated wall panels to ensure the greatest comfort, flexibility, and economy available anywhere. All our wall panels have our structurally and thermally optimized framing, and our own Open-Built® features. Here are some examples:
- For our new Lifestyle™ 3B Matrix™ series of homes, we've introduced our new OBPlus™ wall. These 12-3/4" thick, dense-pack, cellulose-insulated structural wall panels provide R-35 comfort and economy: the best insulated standard wall product in the industry. These super-walls allow your home to achieve Net-Zero, or near Net-Zero performance, allowing you to heat and cool your home for a fraction of the cost of a conventionally-built home, while providing Open-Built® flexibility for wiring. These wall panels are also available on our custom designs.
- Both the Unity™ collection and BrightBuilt Barn® utilize our 12" thick, R-40, dense-pack, cellulose-insulated structural panels to achieve extraordinary Net-Zero performance under a variety of climates. These walls are such energy misers that, when combined with triple-glazed windows and advanced gasket technology, can achieve Passive House performance. This can reduce heating and cooling costs to mere pennies on the dollar (or less). These extreme green wall panels also provide Open-Built flexibility for wiring.
