Savings Bank of Walpole

KEENE, NH

2016

1,800 sq ft.

Private Institutional

With an urban and agricultural style, this net-zero-ready timberframe structure, is on the outskirts of the city of Keene, NH, abutting agricultural land. The building is designed for a solar array on the south facing side, out of view from the street. Together with the climate control system, hidden from view on the roof, the systems will generate enough power for the bank's ATM, heat, cooling, and electricity. Clerestory windows allow an abundance of natural light to the open floor plan. The dramatic timberframe entry and tower frame the banks logo signage.
