Description
We teamed up with This Old House to design and build a one of a kind prefab timberframe home for the Favat family on their Weston, Massachusetts land. This home features photovoltaic panels, rainwater capture and super-insulated walls. The design is reminiscent of nearby New England barns, while the open-plan living space gives the family room to grow. Gambrel barn designed with old reclaimed posts and beams from the big dig. Featured on all 17 episodes of 2008 Fall series of This Old House.
