A zero energy timberframe home on Lake Sebago in Raymond Maine. Full douglas fir timber frame construction with oak splines and accents. The prefab cape home has cedar siding exterior with stone accents and a metal roof. Custom millwork and chamfering embellishments seen in the hand-carved figure posts and beams. The kitchen has custom cabinetry of recycled white oak, mosaic tile work and concrete countertops. Douglas fir floors throughout the large great room and other areas of the house. Many amenities including a home theater and office. Power Barn with 10KW roof mounted solar panels powers all the electrical requirements of the main house equipped with Lutron lighting and low voltage systems. HVAC systems include Geothermal heat pump, propane backup boiler, radiant floors and energy monitoring and management system. Other mechanical systems include Life Breath HRV and 18 KW backup generator. All building materials have low VOC finishes that meet the Green Seal standards.
